Batman – Night of the Monster Men | Comics

As Hurricane Milton is headed towards Gotham City, something weird starts happening to the corpse at Tolliver Memorial Morgue. Batman and Batwoman were atop a building observing the weather. Reminding even he cannot fight nature, Nightwing also indicates the possibility that this one may be worse than "Zero Year" but since he has lost Tim, he won't allow any more loss of life.

So, he calls for Clayface, Orphan and Spoiler to lend hands. In Cauldron, Dr. Hugo Strange is working out and is reminded that it is time, to which he agrees and the corpse on the morgue starts taking grotesque form, turning into something monstrous. The entire Bat-Family is assembled and given their task of rescuing people when they all suddenly saw a giant monster approaching to them.

Sending his cavalry to help the citizens, Batman jumped in to confront the monster and after quite a hassle, he even managed to take it down. Upon analyzing its DNA, they learn that the person Bob Castro, who was turned into this monster, actually killed himself in Commissioner Jim Gordon's office and was a former patient of Hugo Strange.

Batman eventually deduced the real culprit behind this incident by connecting the dots and then another monster arrives. He sends Nightwing for investigation while trying to draw the monster's attention to him and Batwoman. Clayface, Orphan and Spoiler assists Detective Bullock with evacuation. The situation on street worsens and Gotham Girl decides to join the fight in her shaky condition in spite of Batman's warning.

Nightwing – Better Than Batman | Comics

Lately, Dick Grayson has seen a great deal. He was captured by Crime Syndicate, who revealed his identity to the world and Batman told him to go undercover. So, Dick joined a covert spy organization called Spyral as Agent 37 and using a satellite, he was eventually able to make the world forget who he really was except for his few friends. Leaving Huntress behind, he got back in Gotham City and get along with Damian Wayne.

At Batcave, Dick removed a hidden bomb from Damian's skull with a device he got from Midnighter, which was planted by the Parliament of Owls during "Robin War". Since they think they own Nightwing by blackmailing him using Damian, Dick decides to return to them and keep playing. Meanwhile, Lincoln March is declared rogue among his circles and is immediately replaced.

The Parliament wants Nightwing to take care of a business regarding an outlaw thief called Raptor, whom they hired and he has to fly to Russia to assist him for a mission to take out Kobra Cult. In their first meeting, Raptor gave Nightwing a beating to prove that he is the one in charge here.

Then they both head to a hijacked ship in Black Sea, which belongs to a parliament member and busted it from Kobra. Afterwards, they are sent over to Norway on their next assignment, when Raptor surprises Nightwing by asking if he wants to bring the Owls down because he is also playing a long game here. Without saying anything, Dick tags along but before they complete the task, they got company from Batgirl, which makes things less comfortable than it already was.
