 | Comics
In Africa, a pack of military people working for a mysterious local warlord are looking for mutants to try and taking them as their slaves. But since the event of M-Day, mutant population has been drastically decreased to a very minimal level worldwide. Their scanner shows them the sign of a mutant right behind them and they met the weather manipulating X-Man Ororo, also known as Storm as they turn. In her homeland, the goddess kicked out the soldiers while two full grown up pet tigers that came with her, engages the rest of the militants. She gave that soldier a pretty hard time and then drops him on the ground after quite a spin in the atmosphere, which they pretty much deserved.

X-Men member Psylocke had previously died in a battle and recently she have re-appeared again in the X-Mansion. Psylocke's brother, Jamie Braddock appears in the mansion and he seems a bit insane of some sort this time. Nightcrawler and Marvel Girl kicked him on his chin to knock out but then he created a small illusion that caused them fighting each other, each thinking the other as Jamie. Psylocke and Cannonball joins the brawl but soon they also starts having the same illusion as Rachel and Kurt. Bishop caused some distraction that allows Psylocke to beat up her brother but Jamie killed all the X-Men by unleashing The Fury. Soon, he restores them back to life and informs that he is here to help them save the universe from The Foursaken and the event is of so much importance that Uatu the Watcher has also arrived.

Ultimate War | Comics

After battling Magneto (Tomorrow People) and his deadly Sentinel fleet from Savage Land to save New York as well as The President of United States of America, Professor Charles Xavier had brainwashed him and declared him dead upon sending him far away. Actually Professor Xavier was planning to reform his old friend under his own care. This news is mistakenly leaked out by X-Men’s Beast to his virtual girlfriend over internet. While chatting with his unknown virtual girlfriend, he disclosed this piece of information, which caused the Brotherhood of Mutants to capture him as they were the ones posing as his cyber girlfriend to dig out their spiritual leader, Magneto.

Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. is approached by US government, when Magneto starts re-appearing. He blew up eight-hundred people by destroying Brooklyn Bridge in a sudden terrorist attack with a reformed Brotherhood of Mutants at his side. So, along with The Ultimates, Fury successfully tracks down X-Men’s whereabouts but found it empty.

This however led Fury to believe that the X-Men have finally joined the very cause of Brotherhood of Mutants to fight against humankind. Meanwhile, Magneto learns of a plan by Xavier, who intends to track him down. But this plan backfired when The Ultimates and X-Men members encounter each other for quest of self-styled mutant master of magnetism. It's a battle of might and pride to prove who among them are the best.

New X-Men – Assault on Weapon Plus | Comics

Jean Grey caught Scott red-handed on the mental quarters of Emma Frost, trying to seduce him in the Dark Phoenix costume. Kicking him out of her mental space, Jean confronts Emma about this activity and learns that it's been going on for some time. Later, when Beast goes looking for cheering up Emma, he finds her seemingly killed with her body shattered into pieces in her diamond form. Bishop and Sage are immediately called in to investigate and they starts interrogating everyone in the mansion.

After his secret psychic affair with Emma Frost is exposed, Cyclops left the X-Men behind and seeks solace at the Hellfire Club in a bottle of wine. One of Hellfire Club's scantily clad strippers seductively tries to charm him but Scott brushes her off by not paying any mind. The feral mutant Sabretooth was also found present at the facility and couldn't help but mock him a little for having to deal with his issues with booze until club’s owner Sebastian Shaw arrives to warn him about not to bother a patron of the club.

Scott was then found drinking at the club by Wolverine and addresses how bad he is making the X-Men look like right now. Cyclops asked him if he's been tracking him but Logan assures him that he has his own business here. After talking to Scott, he came to the conclusion that Cyclops has already decided to quit the X-Men before leaving him for a while to hit the men’s room. As Wolverine stumbles onto Victor Creed there, the former tries to engage the latter in a battle by escalating an aggressive argument but unable to do so.

Cyclops and Wolverine gets back to their talk and then were approached a person in all-white attire, who goes by the name Fantomex and is here to see Logan. He is here to take help from them to infiltrate the Weapon Plus facility; a program responsible for the establishment of the original Weapon X program and turning Logan into the very man he is today and is currently floating in the earth's orbit. Fantomex wants to destroy Weapon XV and Wolverine wants to get his hands on classified files on him.

Scott declares that he has no interest in this venture and fall onto his faces but Wolverine assures Fantomex that he is the right person to be at their side. They arrive at Weapon Plus' self-contained research facility known as The World and find a couple of A.I.M. soldiers lying dead. Judging by the savage nature of the killings, Fantomex immediately deduces this as the handiwork of Weapon XV. Soon, the remaining goon starts firing at them till they are taken down.

The three of them enters The World filled with cybernetic wonders all around them, where time was frozen. Weapon XV eventually bumps into the trio and defeated them before heading to the Weapon Plus base on space. They reach the long deserted facility where Wolverine finds out classified information about him before he was drafted into the Weapon X program and during his days in the facility. A horrible truth about his past is revealed to him only moments before they set off the base to explode.

Along with Nightcrawler, Shadowcat and Colossus were resting by the pool abroad the cruise ship Titania after the Excalibur team has been disbanded most recently. Calling themselves the X-Men, Xavier's new recruits attacks on board Titania. While Kurt and Peter were busy on crowd-control, these newly assembled mutants abduct Kitty Pryde and take her to their so-called savior.

X-Men – The Hunt for Xavier | Comics

The X-Men team at the X-Mansion is re grouping again after the devastating events of "Operation – Zero Tolerance" and Storm is in charge of the current team. She leads fellow teammates Marrow, Rogue and Wolverine through the tunnels of Washington, D.C., through a series of defensive machines and hidden traps. After their brief meeting with X-Factor liaison Valerie Cooper about the recent developments regarding the missile launch, the X-Men are attacked by their impostors in mid-air, ensuing a battle but Nightcrawler and Colossus came to the rescue.

Afterwards, all of them goes to rescue Shadowcat and breaks her out of there after battling it out with their fake counterparts. Kitty Pryde was brought here in the first place as Xavier explained that during the time Bastion kept him, he was infected with a computer virus that now only she can cure him off. The X-Men flies back home in Blackbird and Xavier seemingly absorbed his fake recruits to take a robotic form, now calling himself Cerebro.

They soon are summoned by Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. to deal with one of their former villain Pyro. The mutant Pyro has good nuts and is flaming out intensely in Nebraska. Not only that, he's been shouting out the name of Professor Charles Xavier all the time. Storm splits the team in two groups, sending Wolverine, Colossus and Gambit after Pyro and led her own team of Marrow, Nightcrawler, Rogue and Shadowcat for crowd control.

As Storm engage to control the situation, Marrow confronts her about Xavier's action on the infamous "Mutant Massacre" event. Since Pyro is infected with the lethal Legacy Virus that is reaching to its ultimate stage, his powers are way out of their regular scale. Even Colossus felt the heat Pyro emitted in his armor mode. The X-Men were finally successful to take him down, but they are still riddled with the question that, why Pyro was frequently calling out for Xavier, when they don't share even a short history together.

After returning to the X-Mansion, they ran a search for Xavier via Cerebro but surprisingly found that currently there are two Xavier around the world! Meanwhile, the real Professor Charles Xavier was forming a new Brotherhood of Mutants consisting Blob, Post, Mimic and Toad to oppose an oncoming foe that he fears he cannot face and win alone against.

X-Men – The Hunt for Professor X

Followed from the "Operation - Zero Tolerance" crossover, "The Hunt for Xavier" is a six part crossover take that ran in the two major X-Men titles. With writer Steve Seagle teaming up with artist Chris Bachalo (Captain America – Homeland, Dark Reign – The Sinister Spider-Man) in the issues of Uncanny X-Men. Since this was a six-issue crossover arc, penciller Leinil Francis Yu (New Avengers, Secret Invasion) and Pasqual Ferry (Adam Strange – Planet Heist, Superman – Ending Battle) also appeared as guest artist. Late artist Mike Wieringo (Fantastic Four, The Flash) also contributed to the X-Men issue #1/2 that is also part of the book as well. The entire concept has build upon the idea of what if Professor Xavier's long-time trusty mutant-detecting program goes rogue and how will he manage to put an end to it's menace then.

Operation – Zero Tolerance | Comics

After most of The Avengers, Fantastic Four, The Incredible Hulk and Doctor Doom has seemingly sacrificed themselves to destroy the essence of the psionic being Onslaught, only the mutant superheroes were left on Earth. Bunch of non-mutant superheroes including Daredevil, Doctor Strange and Spider-Man were left behind along with the team of X-Men. A mutant-hating human and also a candidate for Presidential election, Graydon Creed got killed and his unknown killer is suspected to be a mutant.

The government has given the complete authority to Bastion; an upgrade to the advanced sentinel Nimrod, to handle the situation and he came up with a plan along with his newly assembled troops of Prime Sentinels to capture all mutants, dubbing it as "Operation: Zero Tolerance". Many of the X-Men are captured and the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning is seized by him. This gave Bastion all access to the information about every known mutant out there.

Because of his role on Onslaught Saga, Professor X voluntarily turns himself to the authority and Bastion confronts him personally before locking him away. The young mutant Jubilee of team Generation X is soon captured along with her team and taken to the custody of Bastion where she is extensively tortured on a mental level by the Sentinel-Hybrid to discover the secrets about her fellow mutants.

X-Men member Cyclops, Jean Grey, Cannonball, Storm and Wolverine are also captured by the program. In the mean time, the time-travelling mutant from the future, Cable sneaks into the X-Mansion to rescue his ally Caliban and erase Xavier's files containing all information on other mutants to save them from Bastion. Iceman has formed a small rebellion team against the Operation and Bastion himself.

The mutant Marrow also joins in his cause to avenge her mentor and the Morlock leader, Callisto. As they were preparing to lead an attack on Bastion, the rebellion faced a sudden ambush by a group of Prime Sentinels. Iceman eventually gets his chance to go up against Bastion and was seemingly besting him but then the Sentinel tuned the tides of their fight.
