Robbie Reyes is home with his brother Gabe and hasn't been feeling good lately as he is still trying to figure out his Ghost Rider persona. After her last encounter with The Leader, Jennifer Walters is trying her best not to turn into She-Hulk again when a pervert kept annoying her when she was walking alone on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

A huge warp-hole appears near the low-orbit space station of Alpha Flight and Captain Marvel sees a Celestial hand coming out that causes her to sound every global alarm. Steve, Thor and Tony head towards the site and see something huge fall off the sky.

A journey to the center of the Earth takes Black Panther and Doctor Strange to a place full of egg-like object lying dormant. Meanwhile, Robbie was recalling his encounter with Starbrand when suddenly; he sees a swarm of bug-like creatures coming out of ground and turns into Ghost Rider. Strange and T'Challa faces the same horde at the same time.

What came out of the warp-hole and dropped into Hudson River is a fallen Celestial and The Avengers sees Col. Carol Danvers standing beside it. Tony asks her if she had killed it but she says it was already dead when it came and there are at least hundreds more coming. Cap shouts their iconic battle-cry seeing another group of Celestials coming.

Captain America, Iron Man and Thor charges at this group of The Final Host with everything they have. Jen Walters finds herself near the dead Space God but is immediately attacked by a swarm that caused her to turn into She-Hulk and squish the bugs. She and Robbie Reyes bumped into each other and invoke a fight before getting busy with the bugs.

Captain Marvel plans to hurl The Final Host into sun using her omega-level warp grenades and Cap even pulls off a desperate stunt to eradicate this threat but them all are suddenly restrained by the God of Mischief, Loki. He has allied himself with the dark Celestials and after kidnapping Cap, he left The Avengers dealing with the locust horde.

Avengers – The Final Host

To begin with a freah-start, Marvel Comics hired comic-book writer Jason Aaron (Original Sin, Thanos Rising) in 2018 to set a grand plot which will expand to the past, present and future of The Avengers, which takes place on the eighth ongoing volume of the series from issues #01-06. The arc goes back and forth to connect lose knots to bigger secrets.

He was assisted by artists Ed McGuinness (Avengers – X-Sanction, Superman – Emperor Joker), Paco Medina (New X-Men – Mercury Falling, New X-Men – Nimrod) and Sara Pichelli (Spider-Men, Spider-Men II). Also, David Marquez (Defenders – Kingpins of New York, Defenders – Diamonds Are Forever) worked on a few variants.

Still After Avengers

Although the Dark Celestials were never a Thanos-level threat to begin with, the heroes were still challenged like never before and the next arc promises to be more action-packed. Odin and his Stone Age Avengers have much starting secrets for the heroes to know. Despite The Eternals all perishing during the story, Marvel will probably revive them in future.

Tony slipping into coma after fighting with Carol Danvers during Civil War II, Cap turning into an agent of Hydra from Secret Empire and events of The Unworthy Thor were all referenced as a callback to all three of them to come together once again. "Jen Walters Must Die" storyline from She-Hulk monthly series hinted to her issues as well.

Super Sons – Parent Trap | Comics

Robin’s past finally revealed to Superboy in a meeting with Talia al Ghul, before Kid Amazo returns to tear the Super Sons apart.

When his dad Superman leaves for a Justice League-level emergency and reporter mom Lois Lane goes Metropolis to investigate on an article for Daily Planet, young superhero Jon Kent is left behind with Damian Wayne, who lands on the school ground of West-Reeve by their trusted family butler Alfred Pennyworth.

Unbeknownst to Damian, his mother Talia al Ghul was secretly keeping an eye on him from nearby and meets him during lunch period only to freak out his friend Superboy by holding her own son with a sword on his throat. She asks him to come with her but Robin declines her offer after freeing himself.

The Super Sons heads to Gotham City and encounters members from League of Assassins before finding out that Talia was hired to kill Lois. Jon and Damian then start scouring through the city to find their mothers to stop one from killing the other.

The shot fired by Talia from a rooftop was timely deflected by Jon while Robin confronts his mother about this contract she took and engages her. Jon would come across Lois on street after taking down a few of the ninjas and Damian would force his mother to leave town after besting her in combat.

Two researchers working at LexCorp walks into a room for checking on inventory before Lex Luthor arrives only to discover that the synthetic suit made of Amazo Virus is missing from containment and as the Super Sons were planning for their patrolling schedule for the night on Fortress of Attitude, Kid Amazo suddenly breaks in.

Sending Robin to look for rebreathers, Superboy tackles their former enemy until the villain is hit by an escape pod of theirs. Together, they made an attempt to reach out to surface for seeking help but Jon is grabbed by the leg at the last minute and pulled underwater.

Before Damian could ran out of air, Cyborg came out of nowhere at his rescue and band together looking for Kid Amazo instead of taking him back home. An unconscious Jon is dragged by the suit to an oil rig and discloses how it escaped using Reggie Meyer.

Since the boy was in a weakened condition when bonded, there are high chances of him being dead right now, because his powers were burned out and now it needs an external energy source to feed on. To absorb organic power from new source, he has acquired Batman, Flash, Superman and Wonder Woman.

After draining the entire League, the suit wanted Jon as a host who could survive and filter it to power the armor. Though resistant, he couldn't free his father and friends or even last too long before help could arrive but when it did, he immediately freed himself from captivity.

Since the suit has tapped into the power of Flash, it started to give even Cyborg a hard time. With no chance to seemingly win against the villain, Robin eventually came up with a plan which involves Victor Stone losing to Kid Amazo as a part of gamble he planned.

Super Sons – Parent Trap

The new DC Comics monthly ongoing Super Sons comic-book series has completed its third story arc "Parent Trap" in issues # #13-16 and Annual #1. Series regular writer Peter Tomasi (Batman – Arkham Knight, Forever Evil – Arkham War) returned to complete the plot that apparently draws the ending for the series for now.

Group of artists consisting Carlo Barberi (Deadpool – Suicide Kings, Ororo – Before the Storm), Jorge Jiménez (Superman – The Final Days of Superman, Superman – Trials of the Super Sons) and Paul Pelletier (Fall of the Hulks, War of Kings) provided arts for the story. This arc was preceded by the events of "When I Grow Up" and "Planet of the Capes", which set up the premises.

End of Innocence

The killer queen who used to run League of Assassins, Talia al Ghul pays a surprise visit to her son Damian with a contract to kill Lois Lane. However, the ongoing Leviathan civil war is what brought her here even though her intentions were never clarified at any point of the encounter (The Silencer – Code of Honor).

Then former Amazo Project came back to life next, looking for revenge by taking down the biggest players of world's greatest superhero team. Except for Aquaman and Green Lantern, almost every core-member of the Justice League showed up in the story, not to save the day but to be saved instead.

Amazing Spider-Man – Red Goblin | Comics

One of Spider-Man's greatest enemies meets with another to form an unholy bond and get back at him by threatening everyone close to him.

Due to previous unfortunate events, Peter Parker had to ruin Parker Industries and everything it was built on in order to prevent Doctor Octopus or Hydra from misusing any of it. Currently, he is crashing at the couch of S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Bobbi Morse AKA Mockingbird when he is not fighting crime.

Aside from that, his adventure as Spider-Man continues and he managed to get a job as Daily Bugle's science section editor. By this time, two mercenaries breach at underwater containment facility called Lock Box to secure a package and releases an artifact known as Zodiac Key.

A year ago, on the same day, Spidey had thrown out the villainous Scorpio into Zodiac Dimension for a year after he gained a year worth of prior knowledge of future. On the same day, Lock Box is breached and he got out while gaining the key as well.

He is eventually taken down and he warns before going to prison that something is coming for the Wall-Crawler, which he brushes off. Elsewhere, those mercenaries arrive to their employer with the package, which turned out to be the Carnage symbiote and the boss being Norman Osborn.

Then he would be called upon to by the current Sorcerer Supreme, Loki in absence of Doctor Strange. Years ago, he owed Spidey a favor and he just wanted to return it now but after a brief adventure together, the latter used it in most unexpected way Laufeyson could ever think of.

Meanwhile, Osborn unleashed the symbiote after repeatedly failing to restore his madness by mystical, psychological or surgical ways. It tries to take over but he offered to teach it becoming more sadistic starting with killing two of his own henchmen.

Carnage is intrigued by Osborn's method of torturing and wanted more but Norman agrees to that for being in full control. Not only does it repair his facial appearance, the symbiote ejected all nanites from his body that was stopping him from becoming Green Goblin.

Alchemax C.E.O. Liz Allan asks Flash Thompson to be present as Agent Anti-Venom during one of their upcoming presentation. There, Phil Urich showed up as Goblin King with his minions, which results in a fight and Peter ended up hitting the jackpot with Mary Jane Watson after the fight.

Peter and Mary Jane were at her apartment passionately making out and reminiscing about their past times together but then remember about their reason for splitting up seeing his costume underneath. Liz asks Flash again to try and retrieve the exploding metal tritium from Goblin King.

In one of his abandoned his gentleman's club, Osborn was talking to someone about Spider-Man whom he abducted and had blindfolded. Hearing some noise downstairs, he goes to check and confronts Phil, who he kills by ripping his heart out when Goblin King attacked him with a flame sword.

Norman came back monologuing to his prisoner explaining how he is going to deal with the Wall-Crawler but his hostage pointed out how Green Goblin has failed over and over in past only to fail each time and accidentally spills a hint.

With that, he managed to deduce the secret identity of the hero and his captive is revealed to be none other than J. Jonah Jameson. He then raids into Daily Bugle looking for the Web-Head and these two gets into a fight. GG threatened everyone with tritium explosives and Spidey managed to contain the blast.

Osborn got impaled on a girder and faking his dying state, he calls Parker near to thank him. Then he turned into a goblin/symbiote hybrid called Red Goblin. With his newfound power, Carnage/Goblin proves to overwhelming for Spider-Man alone.

He offers to leave him alone if he gives up being hero or kill each and everyone he loves. Even with help from his friends Anti-Venom, Clash, Human Torch, Miles Morales and Silk, Pete didn't stand a chance.

Amazing Spider-Man – Red Goblin

Despite Spider-Man having an impressive Rogue's Gallery, his villains can get a bit repetitive over times. In 2018, Marvel Comics hired writer Christos Gage (Civil War – House of M, House of M – Avengers) and Dan Slott (She-Hulk, Silver Surfer) to solve that problem in "Red Goblin" storyline.

Artists Jim Cheung (Avengers – The Children's Crusade, New Avengers – Illuminati), Giuseppe Camuncoli (Darth Vader – Imperial Machine, Darth Vader – Legacy's End) and Stuart Immonen (Fear Itself, Inferno) delivered illustrations for issues # 794-801 of Amazing Spider-Man monthly ongoing series.

Go Down Swinging

Green Goblin has been a terrible menace who terrorized Peter Parker on personal level and in his super-heroism. Carnage is another psychopath who is nearly as ruthless but a lot more chaotic. When two of these terrible personas merges and creates a new one, it surely is a live horror show. With a slow build-up, the plot eventually delivers more twists and turns than readers have probably bargained for.

Throughout the arc, references of the events from One More Day, Secret Empire and The Clone Conspiracy were made. Apparently, it took place between "Hunt For Wolverine" and "Return of Wolverine" crossover events and Wolverine even showed up in a cameo in the first issue of the story.

Damage – Out of Control | Comics

Ethan Avery signed up for Damage Project to serve his country not realizing he would be turned into a weapon of mass destruction.

During transportation, a hulking creature goes on a rampage by breaking out of a plane and head over to civilization. His immediate handler, Major Liggett informs his superior about this by referring it as Damage and tries to engage him in combat wearing an exo-suit, only to get thrashed around and rendered fully incapacitated.

Apparently, a member of United States Army named Ethan Avery has volunteered for an experimental program to serve, which gave him superpowers and turned him into an unstoppable behemoth called Damage. Avoiding locality, he goes into a secluded location for an hour-long countdown to end and then rest.

Operation overseer Colonel Marie Jonas came visiting the crash site of Stork-1 to have come face-to-face with Suicide Squad director Amanda Waller who came here to clear up her mess with her brand-new Task Force XL team. Elsewhere, Ethan has changes back to his human form after his hour of being a rage monster was over.

He later wakes up in a homeless shelter at Atlanta before going out to call his mother from a stranger's phone that was immediately tracked. Deadshot approached him in an alleyway before Parasite sneaked on him to absorb his power but collapsed almost immediately only for Giganta to intervene and slam him to the ground.

Though she momentarily thought that Damage has been taken care off but he tore her palms out. Harley Quinn didn't even made him flinch and nor did her teammates Akando or Solomon Grundy. It was for the timely arrival of Wonder Woman, Deadshot and Harley were bailed out from being smacked hard by their enraged rival.

Diana goes toe-to-toe and came to a realization that never had she ever fought a walking brutal beast like this before. When finally binding it with her Lasso of Truth, she discovers that there is a man inside the creature and Ethan received a brief vision of how he was transformed into a brute force of destruction by Colonel Jonas.

Just before he was about to pass out and transform back, Damage crushed her into a building and escaped. Atop from a nearby rooftop, Col. Marie was observing how her weapon of mass destruction decimated entire Suicide Squad in less than three minutes and now that Waller has failed, she calls in Mr. Leash for a hunter squad.

Ethan tried to hitch a ride to get to New Orleans but got offered a job by a trucker named Jorge Hernandez, who then sends him to his cousin José in Louisiana. Little did they know then that Poison Ivy already invaded that plantation area and took its workers hostage, forcing Ethan to change into his other but even that was not enough.

He ended up taken down by Ivy but came back for her after recovering and faced an army of angry apes led by Gorilla Grodd. His recent rampage near Louisiana has also caught attention of Swamp Thing, who came visiting this runaway hero.

Meanwhile, Wonder Woman informs her friends in Justice League about her encounter with Damage, which seem to make Superman slightly curious and Batman decides to investigate further into its back-story to figure out who he is. Col. Jonas has been hunting his tail for some time to find out what is he planning to do next.

Damage – Out of Control

During events of "Dark Nights – Metal", Damage made his debut to lead a "New Age of Heroes" and later appeared in his own brand-new monthly ongoing series launched by DC Comics in 2018. Collecting first two action-packed stories from its second monthly run, "Out of Control" ran from issues #01-06 of the comic-book series.

It features writer Robert Venditti (Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps – Bottled Light, Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps – Sinestro's Law). Artist Tony Daniel (Deathstroke – God Killer, Deathstroke – Gods of War) teamed up with fellow illustrators Cary Nord and Diogenes Neves for interior drawings as well as cover arts.

Going Brutal and Heavy

In attempt to introduce a Hulk-like character for DC Universe, Venditti pitted him against an extremely efficient version of Task Force X before setting a stand-off against Wonder Woman. Her fighting prowess and skills are put to test like never before and even possibly building a narrative to send Damage against members of Justice League.

Putting Poison Ivy into this mix was a little weird and Gorilla Grodd has literally served no great purpose whatsoever. Special appearance of Swamp Thing also seemed a bit forced and unnecessary for the story premise. More of Col. Jonas and her hired hunting party will most likely to be revealed in upcoming storyline "Scorched Earth".

Venom – The Nativity | Comics

Eddie Brock is cured of a mental state of his symbiote and now back as Venom, who is getting chased by Spider-Woman.

Struggling with a metabolic disorder for some time, Eddie Brock was having an issue with his symbiote often lashing out uncontrollably and so, he sought out help from Liz Allen, C.E.O of Alchemax. She tells him that all reserve of the experimental serum developed for him was destroyed in his recent brawl with Anti-Venom and Spider-Man.

However, his symbiote's sickened state has been cured as a result of a cascading reaction when it was bonded to him and Flash Thompson lately. Happy to hear this great news, Eddie asks her out for dinner for celebrating a new beginning only to get declined but then they attempt to apprehend Looter as he was stealing from a rug store.

Seeing Venom sneaking up on him out of nowhere, he wet his pants in fear of getting maimed like before but instead of getting messy, Brock simply webs him up to hand him over to police. He is interrupted by Spider-Woman, who was keeping an eye on Looter and she clarifies her intent of taking Eddie into custody as well, leading to a fight.

While getting punched in the face, Venom asks her if Spider-Man didn't tell her about their most recent endeavor together. Despite his recent good behavior, Spider-Woman wants to bring him to justice for his past crimes and murders. This angered his symbiote, which asks Brock to fight her back but he decides to swing his way out of this.

Venom – The Nativity | Comics

He forced her to choose between saving Looter from falling to his death or chasing him and escapes thereby. Venom laments that they will not be credited for their heroic efforts and Eddie promises that he knows a better way. He talks to Jenn Kao of Fact Sheet as "Mr. Sym" to write front-page exposés on anti-hero Venom but fails anyway.

Eddie was not aware of Spider-Woman spying on him and she broke into his apartment that night by hitting him off with a Venom Blast. As she attempts to take an unconscious Brock to jail, his symbiote latched onto her and showed her many memories of its past offspring and how it needs him to be a hero until she agrees to leave him alone.

She tells Klyntar to watch over Eddie and keep him in line or she will hunt him down and it complies saying, she won't be alone. When he regained senses, his other vaguely describes to him how it made her go away by showing their secrets. Eddie Brock still suspects if his symbiote is keeping something from him and it reassures him otherwise.

In a haunting dream, he sees Carnage standing next to his deceased wife Anne Weying and Liz Allen, for a family reunion with Agony, Lasher, Phage, Riot and Scream bonded to their hosts before waking up in horror abruptly. Eddie suits up to go out for some fresh air and he came across Shocker at a jewelry shop where they fights briefly.

In another dream, he sees Liz is pushing a baby on a stroller and talking to Brock, which turns out to be a symbiote that ended up devouring her. He takes a walk to clear his mind and meets FBI Special Agent Claire Dixon, whom he thought have died fighting Carnage but she reminds how people he know have died and come back including himself.

She has apparently brought Anti-Symbiote Task Force with her to subdue him and knocks Venom out using incinerator drones. As Claire has yet to clear her intentions of capturing him, Klyntar informs Brock that they are about to spawn again. Their exchange is interrupted by Scorpion, who is here to bond with newest spawn of Venom.
