Mutant Massacre | Comics

A young mutant named Tommy and her boyfriend Richard Salmons of Hellfire Club were chased in Los Angeles, California by a mysterious group of hostile mutants who goes by the name Marauders. It appears that the Marauders were only looking for an underground group of mutants who call themselves The Morlocks.

Tommy is then killed by the Marauder named Scalphunter after Richard was taken down on a train yard and upon finding out the secret hideout of the Morlocks, The Marauders unleashed a massive carnage and slew hundreds of innocent mutants mercilessly. After witnessing such horror, Gambit who were leading one of the Marauders team under the order of Mister Sinister to the sewers unaware of their true intentions, fled with a mutant child who would later be known as Marrow.

On response to a call for help, the team of X-Factor and X-Men reaches the spot separately to battle The Marauders and help the remaining Morlocks alive. Angel of the X-Factor got pinned to the wall by Harpoon, leading to the amputation of his wings later. Trying to save RogueShadowcat got stuck in her phase form after being attacked by Harpoon. Nightcrawler and Colossus also got heavily injured by Riptide.

What came up next is a legendary battle between two feral mutants of Marvel Universe; Wolverine and Sabretooth when the former was wandering inside the tunnels looking for survivors. These two animals tore each other apart as they could in the heat of the situation. They went on to a second round but Wolverine left the fight to save the life of a Morlock. Sabretooth even reached to X-Mansion secretly and destroys Cerebro but there he was confronted by Psylocke before Wolverine could arrive and she took the fight outside so that Victor Creed couldn't hurt any other students.

The vigilante hero Daredevil and The Mighty Thor have also crossed paths with The Marauders during this massive slaughterous event. Thor's intervention is the only reason why X-Factor got out of the mess with minimum causalities on their rank and he later cleanse the sewer of the dead with his power, which also causes some to believe that Power Pack has also perished within.

His entire clan was captured by the Grand Vizier Ozymandias and he ended up being killed for rebellion. It was the first time when his mutant power was discovered when he was revived by it. He forced the then ruling Egyptian Pharaoh Rama-Tut to retreat and turned Ozymandias as his slave in a stone-like form. Thus the new era of "The First One" has begun.

Over the century-wide period of time, he appeared in various civilizations, being worshiped by many cultures as Death-God, died and re-generated but he focused on conquering world. He got his hands on an abandoned spaceship of the Celestials and the key to unlock its technology becomes his obsession. He eventually finds it in time-traveling mutant Cable which follows to a fatal consequence for him. Nur resurfaced again in the modern century and was opposed by X-Factor and X-Men.

In time, he recruited Angel, Gambit and Wolverine as Horsemen of Death. Once he also abducted Hulk to be Horseman War. Namor, the Submariner has battled him on one occasion and following his choosing of "The Twelve" met his untimely demise. During "World War Hate" he manifested through Evan Sabahnur and fought The Avengers.

The Death of Superman | Comics

Located in an unknown underground chamber, a giant entity wearing a green containment suit keeps hitting the steel doors to get out of its imprisonment. Through continuous punching, his gloves tore up and reveal sharp bony edges on tip of its knuckles. Meanwhile, Superman and reporter Lois Lane of Daily Planet were involved in a case facing the dwellers of Underworld.

The trapped being eventually breaks out of the chamber and reaches above ground, where he instantly starts a murderous rampage with a bird and a deer. As he keeps progressing, members of the Justice League International including the Green Lantern Guy Gardner, Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, Maxima, Fire, Ice and Bloodwynd tries to engage and stop him with full force but to no avail at all.

The beast was able to easily demolish the entire Justice League roster with one hand tied to its back and yet would stop at nothing. After putting down Guy Gardner, it took Blue Beetle out of the commission and only Maxima seems to held the last line of defense against it.

Finally, the Man of Steel appears just in time to save Booster Gold from a fatal injury and engages the monstrosity whom Booster has dubbed as “Doomsday”! Even the best efforts of Superman seem to be not enough to thwart the monster’s rampage. Upon decimating all the heroes present, Doomsday approaches to the city of Metropolis, where a historical battle will take place that will be remembered forever for its viciousness.
