Venom – The Nativity | Comics

Eddie Brock is cured of a mental state of his symbiote and now back as Venom, who is getting chased by Spider-Woman.

Struggling with a metabolic disorder for some time, Eddie Brock was having an issue with his symbiote often lashing out uncontrollably and so, he sought out help from Liz Allen, C.E.O of Alchemax. She tells him that all reserve of the experimental serum developed for him was destroyed in his recent brawl with Anti-Venom and Spider-Man.

However, his symbiote's sickened state has been cured as a result of a cascading reaction when it was bonded to him and Flash Thompson lately. Happy to hear this great news, Eddie asks her out for dinner for celebrating a new beginning only to get declined but then they attempt to apprehend Looter as he was stealing from a rug store.

Seeing Venom sneaking up on him out of nowhere, he wet his pants in fear of getting maimed like before but instead of getting messy, Brock simply webs him up to hand him over to police. He is interrupted by Spider-Woman, who was keeping an eye on Looter and she clarifies her intent of taking Eddie into custody as well, leading to a fight.

While getting punched in the face, Venom asks her if Spider-Man didn't tell her about their most recent endeavor together. Despite his recent good behavior, Spider-Woman wants to bring him to justice for his past crimes and murders. This angered his symbiote, which asks Brock to fight her back but he decides to swing his way out of this.

He forced her to choose between saving Looter from falling to his death or chasing him and escapes thereby. Venom laments that they will not be credited for their heroic efforts and Eddie promises that he knows a better way. He talks to Jenn Kao of Fact Sheet as "Mr. Sym" to write front-page exposés on anti-hero Venom but fails anyway.

Eddie was not aware of Spider-Woman spying on him and she broke into his apartment that night by hitting him off with a Venom Blast. As she attempts to take an unconscious Brock to jail, his symbiote latched onto her and showed her many memories of its past offspring and how it needs him to be a hero until she agrees to leave him alone.

She tells Klyntar to watch over Eddie and keep him in line or she will hunt him down and it complies saying, she won't be alone. When he regained senses, his other vaguely describes to him how it made her go away by showing their secrets. Eddie Brock still suspects if his symbiote is keeping something from him and it reassures him otherwise.

In a haunting dream, he sees Carnage standing next to his deceased wife Anne Weying and Liz Allen, for a family reunion with Agony, Lasher, Phage, Riot and Scream bonded to their hosts before waking up in horror abruptly. Eddie suits up to go out for some fresh air and he came across Shocker at a jewelry shop where they fights briefly.

In another dream, he sees Liz is pushing a baby on a stroller and talking to Brock, which turns out to be a symbiote that ended up devouring her. He takes a walk to clear his mind and meets FBI Special Agent Claire Dixon, whom he thought have died fighting Carnage but she reminds how people he know have died and come back including himself.

She has apparently brought Anti-Symbiote Task Force with her to subdue him and knocks Venom out using incinerator drones. As Claire has yet to clear her intentions of capturing him, Klyntar informs Brock that they are about to spawn again. Their exchange is interrupted by Scorpion, who is here to bond with newest spawn of Venom.

The Walking Dead – New World Order | Comics

To rebuild their communities once again, Rick Grimes sends his friends to meet a new group of Commonwealth.

Even before everyone was dragged into fighting "The Whisperer War", Eugene Porter has found and made contact with another community while tinkering with a broken radio. He started talking with a woman named Stephanie and they exchanged about each other without revealing any vital information about their groups.

Rick Grimes eventually learns about this via Siddiq at one point and insists on talking to other party in hopes to seek help from them. He agreed to send a scout team to meet them on their turf at Ohio after initial discussion and when they finally arrived there at night, a small militia group, head to toe covered in armor surrounded them.

They are escorted to a nearby location where a representative named Lance Hornsby greeted them but Eugene demands to meet Stephanie first. Lance tried to intimidate their group by having his men pointing guns but none seem to work. Michonne suggests that they be done with asking questions fast so that everyone can move on.

Wrapping up initial interview, both group heads to see Commonwealth, the place where new survivors came from but came across a horde of walkers on way. It seemed like a small bunch at first but quickly turned out to be a larger swarm. Of course, their forces are well-trained to handle such situation and rest of them proceeds.

The group comes upon a stadium, which is part of a fifthly thousand strong community and showing at a billboard nearby, Lance suggests that they take a look at it to see if there is picture of someone they lost. Eugene notices one photo of Michonne over there, from a girl named Elodie looking for her mom and called her to see it.

Instantly getting teary eyed in emotion, she asks to be taken to the location mention in that photo and it took some effort for Hornsby to convince her that they will eventually get there. Inside Commonwealth gates, Eugene meets Stephanie but it was cut short when Lance tells her to go back to her work or get reassigned to a new one.

Michonne gets to see governor of the Commonwealth, Pamela Milton when she said that she was a lawyer before but does show little to no interest in joining them. Sensing something is bothering her, Pamela asks what is wrong and learns about her missing daughter, only to rush to the mentioned location and had a mother/daughter reunion.

At Hilltop, Maggie and Dante starts coming close to each other but Sophia completely disapproves her being with him, calling her out for not ever loving Glenn. Despite her disapproval, Maggie assures Sophia that she loved her late husband and what she is doing right now could be a fling to feel happy after so long.

Outside Commonwealth border, a young man named Sebastian was trying to court a girl not noticing a couple of walkers came close. An axe hit them out of nowhere, causing Sebastian to throw a fit when his date angrily leaves. His guard Mercer came leaving a trail of a dozen of roamers behind that he dispatched to save him.

Going back, he was talking to a fellow officer about how they hate everyone in power as if they were willing to overthrow governor Milton before Siddiq walks in. Though he tried to brush it off as he heard nothing, Mercer explains to him about how they are simply blowing some steam off after having a rough day of babysitting Sebastian.

Alexandria group slowly realizes that besides everything nice this place has to offer, there is some secret hidden from outsiders and discovers a class system among citizens that upsets Magna. Pamela is very keen to visit their community and meet their leader Rick Grimes and soon, everyone else leaves with her except Michonne.

A Whole New World

Though people are not largely threatened by walkers for most part, lead characters slowly start discovering many monstrous sides of human nature during their stay at Commonwealth. Most people living down there are fine with how things are run by authority but deep down inside, a grievance boils hot towards position of power.

Also, a meeting between governor Milton Rick Grimes gives spark to new level of tension because of their differing viewpoints on how society should run now. More interactions between these two leaders will lead to more trouble in horizon on upcoming storyline "The Rotten Core" as things escalate back in Commonwealth.

Star Wars – Darth Vader – The Burning Seas | Comics

Even after Galactic Empire is established, rebellion is still formed and Sidious sends Lord Vader to restore order.

From his final moments of encounter with his former master Obi-Wan Kenobi as Anakin Skywalker on the surface of fiery planet Mustafar, Darth Vader was reliving the whole event from an all-new point during his meditation.

This prompted the invading force and the Dark Lord of Sith to siege Dac City, where Lee-Char is apprehended for interrogation.

Just as their defenses were failing against the Imperial force, two whale-like creatures arose from the bottom of the ocean, creating massive tidal waves that wreck the city.

The Tenth Brother and Ninth Sister of Inquisitors immediately try to shield the wave before Vader joined them but despite their efforts, they all were drowned. Below, he discovers himself under heavy external pressure of water but creates an air bubble around him with Force.

Soon, he is attacked by a squid-like creature that he killed and reached an Imperial submarine. Though the Ninth Sister was able to learn of the whereabouts of the Jedi from Lee-Char, Lord Vader is disappointed at them for failing to kill him.

Meanwhile, the hidden Jedi, Ferren Barr is fascinated about how the Sith has taken control over the galaxy and also reveal his knowledge of Darth Vader actually being former Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker to his loyal bad of acolytes.

Learning of Vader coming to hunt them down, Barr assembles his followers for a quick evacuation but unfortunately crosses paths with the enemy. Tarkin requests assistance from the Sith Lord in capturing King Lee-Char and it would finally led him to a confrontation with Jedi Barr.

Trinity – Dark Destiny | Comics

When Circe and Ra's al Ghul teams up to transform their allies, Batman calls in a Trinity of mystical heroes for help.

When immortal witch Circe invited Lex Luthor and Ra's al Ghul to a secret location for forming their very own unholy Trinity to defeat their arch-nemesis, none of them were interested much. When she showed them three Pandora Pits, a beast made out of the likeness of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman was unleashed on them.

Though Luthor left them shortly afterwards but Ra's remained interested to see what secrecy those Pandora Pits hold. A mysterious hooded entity made it to the island where they were but is quickly surrounded by League of Assassins. He revealed himself to be Jason Blood, alter ego of Etrigan, the Demon and let it loose on them.

After finishing them off, Circe approached him to join their cause since Lex has left but he jumped onto them only to be slashed by Ra's. His demon blood hits the pit and it reacts by sucking him inside to release his true demonic form apart from Jason, deciding to attack humanity with an army of demons with no one there to stop it.

In Gotham City, Bruce has called both Clark and Diana to one of his finest restaurants to spend time together without costume and find a human connection. Their hangout is interrupted by a Justice League distress call that needed their immediate attention.

Before this unfortunate mishap, Jason sent them an imagery of an ancient painting of three of them being slayed by demons. The Trinity of superheroes arrives in time to fight off a demonic horde running rampant on Greece. Even the might of a goddess and a Kryptonian proves futile to fend them off, leading Batman to find an alternative.

He locates Blood and convinces him to take his demon back even at the costs of their lives but seeing her long-time enemy being taken away, Circe intervened and powered the spell with her dark magic before departing with Ra's al Ghul and Pandora Pits.

Weeks later, these two visits Transantarctic Mountains of Antarctica to meet a Dark Trinity of Outlaws with a plan. Though they rejected to join them, Artemis, Bizarro and Red Hood are soon overwhelmed when a group of Ani-Men and League of Assassins distracts them so Ra's can draw blood from them into those pits to suck them in.

Deadman, John Constantine and Zatanna are called by Batman to seek their help with supernatural affairs now that Red Hood is possessed by a demon. Superman and Wonder Woman stand there barely holding him but both Deadman and Zatanna ended up being consumed within him, leaving Constantine behind.

Though John followed them to bring back and eventually met with the true conspirators but he sees through Circe and he is stabbed by Ra's. In a bid to save his life, Constantine suggests her to release Deadman and send him after Man of Steel.

She does so when Trinity was busy protecting Gotham from a demonic invasion led by Red Hood and the Outlaws. It worked as Superman has turned into a monstrosity that starts giving Diana a hard time teamed up with a possessed Bizarro, leaving The Dark Knight behind to somehow save everyone by solving a magical mystery.
