Released in four installment issues that serve as a prequel to the 2015 post-apocalyptic film Mad Max – Fury Road, a limited series starts publishing in 2015 from Vertigo of the same name. Written by the creator of the same franchise George Miller, this series also features the creative input of Nico Lathouris and Mark Sexton. The first two issues were focused on Imperator Furiosa, Nux and Immortan Joe, focusing on their lives. The latter two issues are totally on the main protagonist Max Rockatansky AKA Mad Max. The story of this series was somewhat not essential yet enjoyable to the general and hardcore fans of the franchise. The issue on Furiosa was heavily criticized for the portrayal of violence but compared to that, the other issues performed pretty well.

Hellblazer – City of Demons

In 2011, "City of Demons" was released as a five-part limited series featuring the occult detective John Constantine of Hellblazer comic-book series from Vertigo imprint of DC Comics. The story is plotted by writer Si Spencer (Judge Dredd, Slash and Burn), who worked with artist Sean Murphy (Punk Rock Jesus, The Wake) to create a small adventure of England's most popular chain-smoking, trash talking antihero. As an illustrator, Murphy leaves his impression all over the arc and possibly on the mind of the spectators.

Perched Between Planes

The story very well-depicts the fact that Constantine doesn't just fight with Hell and beyond, he is capable of looking into unlikely places and start pulling necessary strings when it is necessary. Plus, he doesn't shy away to show a small act of kindness every now and then when probably no one is watching. Despite presenting any of his regular enemies like Nergal or The First of the Fallen as threats, Spencer masterfully creates an atmosphere of tension around him that is caused by his demon blood and two ordinary nobody.

Nearly 80,000 years ago from now, Death and The Endless visited the necropolis to put the body of Despair to leave in rest. She has taken all the kings, emperors and rulers of worlds from the history to their afterlife upon their demise. Despite being the personification of life’s end, she actually is pale young Goth lady who is quite caring and kind to all the beings of existence.

As an immortal being that possess near omnipotence she is not bound by any rules like the other six siblings of her, she still has to follow a single custom. A day in every century she has to live an entire day as a mere mortal and die at the end of that day. So that she could comprehend the value of life and what it means to living actually.

During her journey to the eternal and out of the stars of our reach she occasionally visited earth while having the slightest confrontation with Captain Atom, Ambush Bug, Lobo, Legion of Super Heroes, Lex Luthor over time and The Flash too during the crisis of Brightest Day. It is also implied that there are multiple counterparts of many different character across the Multiverse but for all those universe there is only one Death.
