Superman – Bizarroverse | Comics

Superman and Superboy must stand alone against an inter-dimensional threat of Bizarro World with a group of young heroes.

On his way to home after finishing his night patrol, Superman is abducted by Vandal Savage, who then traps him into a time loop using a Hypertime device that will keep him from crossing paths ever again. Man of Steel is sent back to his past and he ended up in 1930 Metropolis fighting a group of gangsters wearing a different costume.

As he goes through the loop, Savage force him to face many past enemies, events and even alternate version of himself to keep him away but Clark eventually finds a way to come back by pushing past time. He returns home to attend his birthday alongside his family with a realization that they will always reunite in the end.

Bizarro has been trying to have a family with his wife Loiz and son Boyzarro on Htrae, which is a parallel opposite to Earth. Things are not ideal for them as their son ran off from home during a skirmish between his parents. He ended up freezing his cat and Hawkzarro together in a reverse event of Jon roasting his cat on Prime Earth.

He then sees Kathy Branden and Superboy approaching to "Bizarro World" through an electro-plasma barrier. When he touches it out of curiosity, it blasts them all off and Jon then heads back home at Metropolis to complete his chores. No sooner had he left, Kathy then busted Maya Ducard AKA Nobody out of her hiding.

Maya was secretly keeping an eye on Superboy on behalf of Superman and tries to explain to Kathy why she is here. These two were about to get into a fight when they both witness a portal breach and Boyzarro coming out of it. Jon came back right in time and cleans up but his parents still figured out that he went to Hamilton.

Lois and Clark go to living room for a little couch time together while Jon hit the bed counting ship only for Boyzarro breaking into his room out of nowhere. Though freaked out at first, Jon was amazed by how similar they are and tries to be friendly with him. Then Clark entering his room made it goes fully bonkers and starts rampaging.

Boyzarro even knocks off a helicopter in confusion but Superman and Superboy managed to save the day. Meanwhile, a warped version of Damian Wayne named Robzarro came looking for Boyzarro only to stumble onto Kathy and Maya.

He came looking for his partner in Bizarro Boyz after Hawkzarro went missing and a pissed off Bizarro is now looking for his boy and teammates in Super Foes. Guided by Man of Steel, their group travels to Htrae via a portal and came in face-to-face with an angry brute that is Bizarro but quickly got knocked his socks off by Superman.

Unable to reason with his brutish counterpart, Big Blue had no other choice but to engage with him in a brawl. Worlds collide as they fight and Legion of Fun decides to destroy Htrae now that they have captured Super Foes. Since his father is busy dealing with Bizarro, Superboy takes charge and attempts to lead everyone to safety.

Later, Jon was having trouble sleeping because he couldn't stop thinking about their adventure trip on Dinosaur Island where they met Captain Storm; sole survivor of a World War II unit called The Losers and promised to get back. Clark agrees to his point and they head over there using a transporter device left behind by Manchester Black.

Clark and Jon was pretty amazed to see Storm alive and kicking but what surprised them most was a new threat emerging from that mysterious island. As the father-son duo prompts him to hurry, he went back to his cave to collect something important.

Superman – Bizarroverse

Marking seventh storyline from Superman monthly comic-book lineup, "Bizarroverse" is a six-part story arc that collects Action Comics #1000, Superman Special #1 from its third run and issues #42-45 from fourth ongoing volume of Superman, therefore effectively ending its series run that started with "DC Rebirth" crossover event.

DC Comics had creative team of Patrick Gleason (Superman – Black Dawn, Superman – Trials of the Super Sons) and Peter Tomasi (Super Sons – Planet of the Capes, Super Sons – When I Grow Up) on writing duty for their acclaimed work throughout the very first issue and wrapped things up on a high note for everyone to be satisfied with.

Gleason also teamed up with artists Doug Mahnke (Final Crisis, Justice League Elite), Joe Prado and Scott Godlewski in overall cycle of illustration. Jorge Jiménez (Earth 2 – Society, Earth 2 – World's End) also drew a single cover for final issue.

Superman took a trip to Apokolips earlier and came back to their mundane life at Metropolis but trouble from Bizarro has found him there. Primary plotline of "Bizarroverse" is almost a mirror reverse of events taken from "Son of Superman" in a lot of aspects with involved characters only played out differently for their weird nature.

Justice League – The Totality | Comics

Martian Manhunter tries to protect the Justice League from an incoming threat that may shatter the world.

In space, a mysterious object passes through space and time, which members of the Justice Legion, multiversal race of Monitors, Kamandi and even the group of all powerful beings called the Quintessence notices and all they could do is to helplessly watch this threat heading towards Earth without being able to stop it before it reaches impact.

Back in Earth, the Justice League members are fighting different tribes of Neanderthals around the globe while telepathically reporting back to Martian Manhunter. They came up with the theory that someone pushed them toward evolution, which is making them trying to claim over Earth and it could be none other than their old enemy Vandal Savage.

As he hold together the minds of his allies, the Martian witness the surface of Earth suddenly breaking apart. J'onn J'onzz pieces together everything from their minds and suggests they would have to destroy the moon. He asks Batman to activate the bombs he planted there long ago and makes an impact taking shape of a giant dragon-like creature.

As the threat is reverted, Superman informs that Swamp Thing is rebinding Earth and J'onn gets a flashback of his life back on Mars where everyone was burnt to death, including his own daughter K'hym in front of him. He tells Bruce that the crisis is far from over and connects rest of the League members into a psychic boardroom meeting.

He sensed something bigger than Savage's plan and discovered the mysterious object, "The Totality" approaching here holding all the energy of the bleeding Source Wall and they are only minutes away from impact. Hawkgirl asks if the Omega Titans are involved but Bruce connects it to a myth of New Genesis from the scan Cyborg ran on it earlier.

Justice League – The Totality | Comics

As everyone is arguing over their current course of action over the matter, Batman suggests a possible contingency in form of Green Lantern John Stewart, who he stationed and awaiting order to fire a miniaturized omniversal wormhole bullet made of Tenth Metal, ready to transport the Totality out of Source Wall and destroy it.

From their secret hideout, the Neanderthal followers of Vandal Savage question his agenda but he claims everything is going according to plan. Lex Luthor arrives out of shadows claiming his plan will fail and as Savage tries to attack him, the former stuns him. His followers pledges alliance to Lex to join his Injustice Gang but he kills them anyway.

He then moves to Savage, mocking him for being coward to never facing the truth and presents his own Legion of Doom consisting of Black Manta, Cheetah, Gorilla Grodd, The Joker and Sinestro. Luthor shows him a doorknob-like object of power and repeatedly smashed him to a bloody pulp, which sent J'onn a psychic flash of upcoming events.

The team was having a disagreement over what to do next, Wonder Woman asks J'onn to call his vote as the chairman of the League and before he could do so, he was interrupted by the telepathic spark that he lost connection to everyone and The Totality hits Earth. He also sensed someone else who knew about the impending doom.

It landed in the Nevada Desert with all the power of Source Wall, shaped as a giant head and created a protective shell around it. Though the Justice League Dark has covered it in a mystic veil to avoid public detection, word about it is getting out and Suicide Squad member Killer Croc has already been possessed by it, whom the League is fighting.

Through Swamp Thing, The Dark Knight approaches John Stewart to join Justice League right away to help them tackling the threat of The Totality. Apparently, Croc has turned into a giant monster and giving a tough time to the heroes. They couldn't get a response from John and decides to investigate the mysterious energy immediately.

Stewart was transporting a prisoner to Green Lantern Corps in space when Sinestro showed up in a new emotional spectrum, transforming him into Ultraviolet Lantern. He then smashed into the Hall of Justice attacking Aquaman, Flash and Wonder Woman. He creates constructs powerful enough to beat them but Cyborg managed to knock him off.

Meanwhile, Superman and Manhunter enter the sphere with Batman and Hawkgirl within their bodies using tech from The Atom. What they don't know is that both Luthor and Joker also sneaked their way inside. Arthur, Barry and Diana find out the Hall of Doom underwater and are attacked by a group of primitive White Martians kept into stasis.

Apparently, Lex Luthor gotten his hands on an object called Doom and with it, he promises each of the villains in his Legion what they wants and they joined his cause gladly. Now that he has gained control over the body of the Man of Steel, only the Caped Crusader is left to stand on his way to stop him but even he may not be equipped enough to do that.

Super Sons – Parent Trap | Comics

Robin’s past finally revealed to Superboy in a meeting with Talia al Ghul, before Kid Amazo returns to tear the Super Sons apart.

When his dad Superman leaves for a Justice League-level emergency and reporter mom Lois Lane goes Metropolis to investigate on an article for Daily Planet, young superhero Jon Kent is left behind with Damian Wayne, who lands on the school ground of West-Reeve by their trusted family butler Alfred Pennyworth.

Unbeknownst to Damian, his mother Talia al Ghul was secretly keeping an eye on him from nearby and meets him during lunch period only to freak out his friend Superboy by holding her own son with a sword on his throat. She asks him to come with her but Robin declines her offer after freeing himself.

The Super Sons heads to Gotham City and encounters members from League of Assassins before finding out that Talia was hired to kill Lois. Jon and Damian then start scouring through the city to find their mothers to stop one from killing the other.

The shot fired by Talia from a rooftop was timely deflected by Jon while Robin confronts his mother about this contract she took and engages her. Jon would come across Lois on street after taking down a few of the ninjas and Damian would force his mother to leave town after besting her in combat.

Two researchers working at LexCorp walks into a room for checking on inventory before Lex Luthor arrives only to discover that the synthetic suit made of Amazo Virus is missing from containment and as the Super Sons were planning for their patrolling schedule for the night on Fortress of Attitude, Kid Amazo suddenly breaks in.

Sending Robin to look for rebreathers, Superboy tackles their former enemy until the villain is hit by an escape pod of theirs. Together, they made an attempt to reach out to surface for seeking help but Jon is grabbed by the leg at the last minute and pulled underwater.

Before Damian could ran out of air, Cyborg came out of nowhere at his rescue and band together looking for Kid Amazo instead of taking him back home. An unconscious Jon is dragged by the suit to an oil rig and discloses how it escaped using Reggie Meyer.

Since the boy was in a weakened condition when bonded, there are high chances of him being dead right now, because his powers were burned out and now it needs an external energy source to feed on. To absorb organic power from new source, he has acquired Batman, Flash, Superman and Wonder Woman.

After draining the entire League, the suit wanted Jon as a host who could survive and filter it to power the armor. Though resistant, he couldn't free his father and friends or even last too long before help could arrive but when it did, he immediately freed himself from captivity.

Since the suit has tapped into the power of Flash, it started to give even Cyborg a hard time. With no chance to seemingly win against the villain, Robin eventually came up with a plan which involves Victor Stone losing to Kid Amazo as a part of gamble he planned.

However, the ongoing Leviathan civil war is what brought her here even though her intentions were never clarified at any point of the encounter (The Silencer – Code of Honor).

Then former Amazo Project came back to life next, looking for revenge by taking down the biggest players of world's greatest superhero team. Except for Aquaman and Green Lantern, almost every core-member of the Justice League showed up in the story, not to save the day but to be saved instead.

Justice League – No Justice | Comics

Dark Nights: Metal has transformed the universe and awakens Godlike beings of destruction for Justice League to stop!

In space, the Green Lantern Corps has assembled all of their members, standing rallied together as they all look into a cosmic threat that can destroy everything. After the Justice League and rest of heroes took a stand against the creatures of Dark Multiverse, the aftermath of that fight left a crack in the Source Wall and the Universe is now broken.

Back on Earth, heroes and vigilantes are being attacked by an enemy force that overwhelms them and director Amanda Waller of Suicide Squad decides to initiate Protocol XI. The Justice League has been fighting Brainiac in Metropolis, who have them on his ropes. Superman somehow manages to get free and charge at his arch-enemy.

Instead of fighting Man of Steel, Vril Dox shows him a dystopian future where Earth has fallen to his rule and teams like Task Force X, The Titans and Teen Titans simply fails to stand against him while other League members get free. He tells Kal-El that he is not here to invade Earth but for the heroes and then all other heroes vanishes with a BOOM!

Beast Boy, Harley Quinn, Starfire and Zatanna wakes up inside a room inside Brainiac's Skull Ship shortly after they were abducted and now all of them are wearing different outfits. Harley finds a way out of the quarter and Damian Wayne was throwing his tantrum at Doctor Fate about finding the Coluan only to discover him standing behind.

Robin is baffled to see his father and his friends standing along with the biggest bad guy in the Universe, which even upsets Koriand'r. Realizing the growing tension in the room, Vril Dox clarifies his intention of seeking their help by holding onto Diana's Lasso of Truth.

He then warns them about four powerful cosmic Gods, Omega Titans who used to plant seeds of cosmic energy in many different worlds. Now that the Source Wall is broken, they came to Colu, the home planet of Brainiac and are about to consume it. He suggests them to group up in four teams, each embodying the energy of Omega Titan.

Throwing abducted heroes, anti-heroes and villains in the mix seem to be difficult as they are unwilling to work with each other as a team because of their past history. However, Brainiac stopped them for now by reminding the bigger issue at hand.

Batman, Beast Boy, Deathstroke, Lex Luthor and Lobo forms Team Entropy while Team Mystery consists of Martian Manhunter, Sinestro, Starfire, Starro and Superman. Atom, Cyborg, Flash, Harley Quinn and Robin assembled Team Wisdom and Team Wonder is founded by Doctor Fate, Etrigan, Raven, Wonder Woman and Zatanna.

Meanwhile, Amanda Waller assembled Task Force XI with the most powerful psychics in the world to hack the brain of the Coluan conqueror. Upon reaching Colu, they see the destroyer of worlds standing tall on the planet and ready to consume it. Vril Dox assumes command and reminding them if they cannot stop the titan here, it will attack Earth next.

Before he could guide them with his plan, he feels excruciating pain in his brain as Waller's telepaths have breached it and then it explodes, leaving his assembled crew to fight alone. The inhabitants of Colu thought them to be minions sent by Brainiac and faced by protocol droids before finding the Tree of Wisdom the titan came after.

Batman suggests that four teams should go after four energy trees and reform them but the dilemma of leadership strikes again until Luthor came to voice his reason and convinced everyone to follow Brainiac's original plan to save two worlds. The Trinity and other League members agreed to this as well except Damian Wayne.

Back on Earth, Waller heads to the Arctic Circle where she is confronted by Green Arrow, who is looking for his friends in the Justice League. She reveals what Vril Dox intended and how he has put Earth next on the menu for ancient Space Gods to devour after blackmailing everyone into cooperating with him to save his own planet.

Since there is no one else left to fight because Brainiac has put the remaining members from the main four teams into stasis, Oliver Queen offers to help Waller to save the world. Together, these unlikely allies team up to dig up Earth's dormant cosmic seed.

In Colu, all four teams struggle to power up the energy trees and fights their way through various obstacles to eventually come face to face with Brainiac 2.0. In the mean time, Amanda Waller realizes by killing Vril Dox, she has doomed Earth as he had some sort of fail-safe hidden within the seed and all the can do now is pray to God.

Trinity – Dark Destiny | Comics

When Circe and Ra's al Ghul teams up to transform their allies, Batman calls in a Trinity of mystical heroes for help.

When immortal witch Circe invited Lex Luthor and Ra's al Ghul to a secret location for forming their very own unholy Trinity to defeat their arch-nemesis, none of them were interested much. When she showed them three Pandora Pits, a beast made out of the likeness of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman was unleashed on them.

Though Luthor left them shortly afterwards but Ra's remained interested to see what secrecy those Pandora Pits hold. A mysterious hooded entity made it to the island where they were but is quickly surrounded by League of Assassins. He revealed himself to be Jason Blood, alter ego of Etrigan, the Demon and let it loose on them.

After finishing them off, Circe approached him to join their cause since Lex has left but he jumped onto them only to be slashed by Ra's. His demon blood hits the pit and it reacts by sucking him inside to release his true demonic form apart from Jason, deciding to attack humanity with an army of demons with no one there to stop it.

In Gotham City, Bruce has called both Clark and Diana to one of his finest restaurants to spend time together without costume and find a human connection. Their hangout is interrupted by a Justice League distress call that needed their immediate attention.

Before this unfortunate mishap, Jason sent them an imagery of an ancient painting of three of them being slayed by demons. The Trinity of superheroes arrives in time to fight off a demonic horde running rampant on Greece. Even the might of a goddess and a Kryptonian proves futile to fend them off, leading Batman to find an alternative.

He locates Blood and convinces him to take his demon back even at the costs of their lives but seeing her long-time enemy being taken away, Circe intervened and powered the spell with her dark magic before departing with Ra's al Ghul and Pandora Pits.

Weeks later, these two visits Transantarctic Mountains of Antarctica to meet a Dark Trinity of Outlaws with a plan. Though they rejected to join them, Artemis, Bizarro and Red Hood are soon overwhelmed when a group of Ani-Men and League of Assassins distracts them so Ra's can draw blood from them into those pits to suck them in.

Deadman, John Constantine and Zatanna are called by Batman to seek their help with supernatural affairs now that Red Hood is possessed by a demon. Superman and Wonder Woman stand there barely holding him but both Deadman and Zatanna ended up being consumed within him, leaving Constantine behind.

Though John followed them to bring back and eventually met with the true conspirators but he sees through Circe and he is stabbed by Ra's. In a bid to save his life, Constantine suggests her to release Deadman and send him after Man of Steel.

She does so when Trinity was busy protecting Gotham from a demonic invasion led by Red Hood and the Outlaws. It worked as Superman has turned into a monstrosity that starts giving Diana a hard time teamed up with a possessed Bizarro, leaving The Dark Knight behind to somehow save everyone by solving a magical mystery.
