The Transformers | Comics
The Transformers are a race of sentient robotic beings, capable of transforming themselves mostly into humanoid forms, living in a technologically advanced distant planet called Cybertron. Cybertron was formed eons ago by the lord of the light gods Primus, as a large technological planet with enormous metal towering future cities. In process of creating Cybertron, Primus has merged his fallen brother Unicron, The Chaos-Bringer within it. Later, Primus has cracked his own force into five beings, Solomus, Epistemus, Adaptus, Mortilus and himself. All of them perished over time due to endless conflict between them and Solomus becomes the vessel of wisdom now called as the Matrix of Leadership and will belong to the true leader of The Autobots.

By time, there came two Cybertronian races; the heroic Autobots and the villainous Decepticons, who would develop a feud among them that would last for generations, as the Autobots are the one fighting for freedom and order, the Decepticons on the other hand lives for total supremacy over the universe. The age-old conflict between the protagonist Autobots, currently led by Optimus Prime and the Decepticons led by the devious Megatron have totally ravaged Cybertron, ruining its existence and stranded them around the universe as a result. As their native planet is all done for good, the Transformers have traveled to Earth and other planets as interstellar refuges and continue their inner rivalry which was a result of their age-old civil war back on Cybertron.
