The Avengers does not exist anymore but a threat from beyond the stars forced Earth's Mightiest Heroes to assemble once again.

There was a time when Avengers member Scarlet Witch and Vision was a couple who eventually married but got separated unfortunately. Years after, they are still friends and helps out each other in times when needed. So, Wanda Maximoff was expecting her ex one evening who wanted to talk about something he needs help with.

He starts seeing several different avatars of her that seems like some haunting apparition for the synthezoid being he is. He opens up about how he is having hallucinating lately about an earlier era when he joined The Avengers and met her, including Black Panther, Captain America, Goliath, Hawkeye and even his creator Ultron.

Though Wanda suspects for him having some memory malfunction, he reveals that he even had such instances with recently deceased people that he failed to save. Vision points out the problem was not within his memory but strong emotions for her deeply rooted within his system that he had to purge, which have her taken aback.

Months after entire universe was restored following "Time Runs Out" and "Secret Wars" event, there was no longer a team of Avengers. Currently acting as All-New Captain America, Sam Wilson saves a family from falling off a bridge and meet Tony Stark by chance who offers him a ride after briefly attending a gathered crowd there.
