More Than Meets the Eye Vol 01
 | Comics
Optimus Prime discovers himself on a landscape that resembles to Cybertron but not the one he used to know. He thought he is either in a distant past or future and then remnants of Galvatron's Sweeps confirms him neither. City of Iacon is now full of unknown populace and one of them starts rebuking him until Sideswipe and Whirl shows up. Bumblebee and Rodimus joins them and expresses their concern about the increasing number of Non-Aligned Indigenous Lifeforms, acronymed "NAIL", as they hate The Autobots, accusing them to be the cause of Great War. Matrix of Leadership reveals a cosmic map that may lead them to Knights of Cybertron. For the sake of Cybertron, Optimus Prime must make the ultimate sacrifice and thus, Orion Pax will reborn.

Shortly after Prime's departure, Rodimus decides to follow the map of Matrix aboard Lost Light in search for Knights of Cybertron. Despite Prowl's forecast of no one joining the cause, Rodimus rounded up around two hundred sign ups. As a result of a misunderstanding, Cyclonus and Whirl gets into a brawl and it went quite far till Tailgate bursts from the ground beneath. Failing to stop Ratchet and Chromedome from joining Rodimus' quest, Bumblebee and Prowl sets a plan in motion to thwart the voyage. Lost Light was forced to quantum jump when one of it's rear thrusters explodes, trapping them on the furthest corner of galaxy and a quarter of their crews stranded on space. Meanwhile, a distress message from future Lost Light came too late for an unbeknownst Rodimus.

Transformers – More Than Meets The Eye Vol 01

Releasing from IDW in 2012, the first volume of The Transformers spin-off, Transformers – More Than Meets the Eye monthly ongoing series was plotted by writer James Roberts (Transformers – Last Stand of the Wreckers, Transformers – Titans Return), while artist Alex Milne (Transformers – Megatron Origin, Transformers – Reign of Starscream) and Nick Roche (Transformers – Devastation, Transformers – Sins of the Wreckers) aided him with illustration for the story. The story kicks off with "The Death of Optimus Prime" for a surprise to many but it picked up the right vibe that was needed for it o begin from a new point. Since Rodimus is the current command of Lost Light crews and have Ultra Magnus as his second in command, it's time people will grow into seeing The Autobots working without Optimus Prime as their leader.

Thirty Days of Night | Comics

30 days of night comic
Thirty Days of Night | Comics
For thousands of years, humans believed that Vampires are only a scary mythical creature of darkness who sucks blood and they only exist in the books and fantasy novels. Since people refuses to believe that these very lethal and heinous creatures are for real, it gives the Vampires an advantage what they need to keep the continuation of their existence running. Because, years of absence of these creatures from human-sight may have faded their memory from men’s mind but they are feared and hated by the humans since the "Council of Elders" made their presence known to public ages ago. After struggling for over a millennium, only a few of them made it out to the present led by an elder named Vicente.

Marlowe, one of Vicente’s own kind has raided the city of Barrow, Alaska, during a 30 straight days of polar night to have a non-stop feeding fest with a few of his blood-thirsty followers that made its residents known about the secret presence of them which their race has been keeping under cover for quite some time. Vicente eventually arrives at Barrow upon calling, only to confront and take care of Marlowe later for what he mindlessly did by blowing their cover to the humans and then decides to continue what Marlowe began anyway, so that there is no witness left to tell their tale. Sheriff Eben Olemaun along with his wife Stella Olemaun and a handful of survivors made a last stand against the Nosferatu. The winter may have had weakened them but since the night is young, the creatures of darkness are still to do a lot more to the humans.

Initially written by Steve Niles (30 Days of Night – Dark Days, Night of the Living Dead – London), 30 Days of Night is a comic book franchise that started with the three-issue mini-series of the same name published in 2002 by IDW Publishing. Artist Ben Templesmith (30 Days of Night – Bloodsucker Tales, 30 Days of Night – Red Snow) joined Niles in the series and later penciller Szymon Kudranski, Brandon Hovet, Josh Medors, Kody Chamberlain, Nat Jones, Milx, Alex Sanchez, Justin Randall and Bill Sienkiewicz (30 Days of Night – Beyond Barrow, Elektra – Assassin) have drawn pages for other tales that came up as the spin-off under the main title. The series managed to gain massive popularity and writer Matt Fraction (Defenders, Fantastic Four), Dan Wickline, Kelly Sue DeConnick and Ben Templesmith also participated in the latter issues of the franchise. As the series became a hit in the market, it also served the plot of a horror film titled 30 Days of Night (2007), which was loosely based on the core story of the comic book.

Optimus Prime | Comics

Optimus Prime | Comics
There are myths about him being a gladiator champion or an Autobot Officer thousands of years in the past but before he was chosen as the brave leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime was a noble successor of the Dynasty of Primes, named Orion Pax. But he had a shared past with the Decepticons’ leader Megatron long before The Great War. The High Council picked Orion after Primus’ the Matrix of Leadership chose him and he became "Optimus Prime". In time, Cybertron is vanquished in war and he led the remaining Autobot warriors on board the Ark but attacked by Megatron and his followers. The Ark crash-landed on a planet that’d be later called Earth and many years after that, he found themselves protecting the sentient inhabitants of that world.

On Earth, Prime and his fellow Autobots found themselves constantly at war as well as many drawbacks like human’s lack of trust on them, Earth’s Energon resources, crowd safety and rogue Cybertronian bounty hunters. Besides transforming into the long semi-fighting truck every now and then, Optimus is always concerned about the safety of the earthlings and the well-being of his comrade Bumblebee, Drift, Ironhide, Ratchet, Rodimus, Ultra Magnus and other allies. He and his Autobot buddies have been fighting for the freedom of life. He and his colleagues were witness to Autocracy, Chaos, Combine Wars and Primacy. Taught in the art of leadership by Sentinel Prime, Optimus is the best role model for a leader, friend, warrior and above all; a hero!

Bearer of The Matrix

A fictional character from the line of Transformers toys by Hasbro, Orion Pax AKA Optimus Prime was named by Dennis O'Neil. Since the creation of the character, Optimus Prime has appeared over more than 800 issues of publications from both Marvel and IDW. He’s been in the leading role of the main Transformers monthly ongoing series and many other spin-off publications. Alongside other heroic Autobots like Bumblebee, Ironhide and Ratchet, Optimus was the primary protagonist on the series of live-action movie adaptations of the franchise including Transformers (2007), Transformers – Revenge of the Fallen (2009), Transformers – Dark of the Moon (2011), Transformers – Age of Extinction (2014) and Transformers – The Last Knight (2017), voice portrayed by Peter Cullen. It can also be presumed easily that this charismatic enigma will make more appearances in the future sequels and spin-offs as well. Several successful video game adaptations on the series were made that also features him reprising his role; notably in Transformers – War for Cybertron, Transformers – Fall of Cybertron and Transformers – Devastation.
