Houseof M – Spider-Man, Fantastic Four & X-Men

"House of M" is a follow-up crossover event that carried out the effects of "Planet X" and "Avengers Disassembled" by Marvel Comics. The main limited series published on 2005, featuring the titled story was written by Brian Michael Bendis (Age of Ultron, Civil War II), who was assisted by artist Olivier Coipel (Avengers Vs. X-Men, Siege) for its eight issue run. Bendis' work on this event would leave a mark and will cause effect to many crossovers in the upcoming years for sure.

During the course of action a similar alternate reality was created for a brief time in the manner of “The Age of Apocalypse” crossover which depicted a parallel universe. Regular monthly ongoing titles like Excalibur, New X-Men, The Incredible Hulk, Uncanny X-Men and Wolverine, as well as several limited series like Fantastic Four – House of M, Iron-Man – House of M, Mutopia X – House of M and Spider-Man – House of M had acted as tie-ins for the event. Following the end of the event, everything was reverted back to normal as it were but the mutant population of the world is reduced to a hundred and few.
