Batman – Impostors | Comics
A mysterious persona has been calling the general people of Gotham City out to his cause. Two groups called the Guardian Bats and the Jokerz are formed in Gotham City and a fierce battle between these two teams who represents two different affiliations, breaks in all of a sudden. A new villain called The Impostor is causing this chaotic mess as he is posing as Batman to the Guardian Bats and leading them to believe him to be the actual Dark Knight as their leader. On the other hand, he also impersonates The Joker and leads the Jokerz, who spreads the boundless chaos and anarchy in the City.

By leading these two teams against each other The Imposter simply wants to start a massive gang war across the city which will leave it to nothing but ruins and piles of dead bodies. Now, it’s up to the real Batman to take charge of his city and perish the sinister plot of the Imposter for good. But being the real Batman is not around, even the one in charge now is not safe in this chaotic city and it is revealed that the Imposter is a person from both Batman and Joker’s past, who wants his revenge on them both for a very personal reason that led him to change into this vicious blood thirsty twisted monster. For them, it was an ordinary day when one of them chased the other throughout Gotham and the person who became the Imposter lost everything over their brawl.

A four part story line from DC Comics, Batman – Impostors is taking place in the first volume of the Detective Comics monthly series. Writer David Hine created the plotline for the story alongside artist Scott McDaniel, who did some fine drawings in the story. This storyline was actually a promotional tie-in release for the Gotham City Impostors video game, which adopted related premises and characters in it.

FDA agent Mason Savoy is busted by fellow agent Tony Chu, for his involvement in killing another agent Evan Papper for his own agenda. Before losing his badge, Savoy managed to bit off Tony’s left ear to use it against him if he ever comes after him. Back in FDA, Chu meets his former partner John Colby, who is back from the hospital after recently joining the FDA in exchange for the cybernetic implants on his skull. Upon seeing Chu in the office he tries to start a fight for what happened to him and out of the hatred for Tony, their boss Mike Applebee thinks that they should partner up and help the NYPD with a special case of robbery.

As they progress with their day, they pay a visit to D-Bear, investigate and analyze info that led them to catch the robbers at Marina Bill enjoying a chicken diner along with the loot. The FDA storms out the boat and Tony determines the diner is not made of chicken but a fruit by tasting it. The plant looks like a pineapple with octopus like tentacles at its bottom that originates in the island of Yamapalu, where Tony is headed for further investigation and met U.S.D.A. agent Lin Sae Woo who was also after Tony's tail for some time. They were about to work together on this case but before that she is ambushed and killed by a very formidable assailant. Unaware of this, Tony learns of a local fighting chicken named Poyo and found disturbing evidence that warns him of a presence of vampire behind all the conspiracies he has unveiled recently at Yamapalu.

The second story arc of the ongoing comic series Chew titled International Flavor consist issue #06-10 from Image Comics publications. The plot and the surrounding contents are created by John Layman (Aliens – Inhuman Condition, Army of Darkness/Xena) and Rob Guillory who also worked on the previous arc Taster´s Choice. As all the stoylines are inter-connected, this one led us to the following chapter titled Just Desserts from the Chew series.

Deadpool Team-Up – Good Buddies | Comics

The Merc With a Mouth, Deadpool and the legendary Prince of Power, Hercules are targeted by two unlikely villain; Arcade, a master assassin and lord of the Dream Dimension, Nightmare. But they didn't see it coming when they chose two of Marvel's most irresponsible and nut-job heroes as the target. Dreadful damages mixed with a lot of bad jokes coming to their way when this two mayhem team up to take them down and for hat they have only their honest regret about the matter.

Next up, it's the hot-headed Mexican bounty hunting wrestlers, "The Zapta Brothers" who came looking for Wade Wilson and he had no other way out but to band with Rigo and Gus Zapta against the South American drug cartel. But can that too go plain with these people around? Hopefully not.

Then came the Spirits of Vengeance, The Ghost Riders; Johnny Blaze and Danny Ketch. Deadpool joins the duo to fight evil Lobster Boy back to hell. U. S. Ace and Wade is heading the road to have a showdown with a bunch of deadly giant Raccoons. Then he is hired by Nadia O'Bryan to find out the Living Colossus.

After that, a woman hired Deadpool to take down The Punisher, who once killed her husband. Unbeknownst of Castle's current status, Deadpool starts investigating and what he finds led him to the sewers of New York, where he met a newly reformed Punisher (see Dark Reign – The List) or maybe his remains, that is better known as Franken-Castle, who is assisted by Morbius the Living Vampire, Werewolf by Night and Man-Thing from Legion of Monsters.

Following her resurrection after "Ragnarok Cycle", Asgardian Goddess of winter storms, Kelda went to Midgard and eventually fell in love with a mortal man named Bill. Having informed of her mortal lover’s unexpected death, Kelda is out for vengeance and seeks Doctor Doom and Loki, as they are the one who were instrumental in Bill’s death.

In Latveria, inside Doom’s castle, she blasts Doom with a lightning bolt only find out that it was a mere Doombot that took the blast. So, she entered the lab inside the castle to seek out the real Doom, only to be captured by another Doombot who tore her heart out when Doctor Doom showed up and expresses his curiosity about the physiology of Asgardians.

The Asgardians are a race of near immortal creatures and for years, they were known for their legendary superior lifespan and durability among all of nine realms. The Latverian tyrant Doctor Doom was always keen to discover the genetic secret of Asgardians and to succeed in his latest schemes, he is capturing many Asgardians and is conducting experiments on them.

In Broxton, Oklahoma, Asgardians have gathered, declaring war against Victor Von Doom and with assembling every one of them out there in one place, demands their missing relatives back. The Mighty Thor is back from his exile and realizing how bad the situation here really is, joins the fight immediately. But Doom has a powerful secret weapon yet to reveal, that is more than an army of Doombots at his disposal, to tackle the wrath of the Asgardian forces.

Thor – Latverian Prometheus

"Latverian Prometheus" is a three part storyline that took place in the first monthly ongoing Thor comic-book series featuring The Mighty Thor and it ran from issue #604-606. The story was published in 2010 from Marvel Comics as writer Kieron Gillen (Angela – Asgard's Assassin, Beta Ray Bill – Godhunter) and artist Billy Tan (Darkness/Tomb Raider, Elektra/Cyblade) were given the task to complete the story.

Even though the plotline does not feature a major reckoning threat, The Destroyer made an appearance to play an important part.. This storyline is next followed by “Thor – Siege”, which is a tie-in story to 2010's Marvel crossover event “Siege”.

Following the “Blackest Night”, the Black Lanterns were gone and Black Hand goes missing. A White Lantern power battery is found in New Mexico where Green Lantern Hal Jordan, Star Sapphire; Carol Ferris and Sinestro appeared but none were unable to lift it. The twelve different individuals that were resurrected and died previously are suddenly revived. Firestorm senses some abnormalities in his matrix and then suddenly the Black Lantern version of him called "Deathstorm" emerges. He teleports Ronnie and Jason near the White Lantern and picks it up after tainting it with Black Lantern molecules. Someone from beyond who was controlling Deathstorm wanted the revived people back and so they are re-created and that someone is revealed to be the Anti-Monitor.

The Entity gives various assignments to the resurrected individuals in order to get their life fully restored before Boston Brand AKA Deadman can find a new bearer of the White Light. Firestorm defends the White Lantern, Hawkman and Hawkgirl went to close the gateway of Hawkworld, Aquaman took Aqualad to his side, Zoom released Barry Allen, Isis was freed by Osiris, Maxwell Lord prevented the events of Kingdom Come, Martian Manhunter, Jade and Captain Boomerang were also successful without the exception of Hawk, who failed to stop the boomerang thrown at Dove. All of them were absorbed into the ring and unleash them on Anti-Monitor. Finally, Boston Brand was given the task of finding the new bearer of the White Light as it wants to experience life.
