H'El on Earth | Comics

Superman is currently following a new training regime to get powered up for being prepared to prevent any further attack from his new enemy Helspont. He soon returns to Metropolis to assume his role as Clark Kent but then quits the Daily Planet under the circumstances created by its current owner Morgan Edge. He got engaged in a fight with an alien dragon in Metropolis, ended up in Ireland, where Supergirl confronts him to inform that the creature was Kryptonian.

H'El on Earth | Comics

A mysterious Kryptonian named H'El secretly observes them both and soon he attacks Superboy when he was with Teen Titans with an intention of killing him as clones were made outlaw in Krypton and considered as abominations but ended up taking him as hostage after easily defeating the Titans.

While Superman was busy trying to figure out the origin of the Kryptonian stranger with Dr. Veritas, H'El approaches to Supergirl with his vision of restoring Krypton and even convinces her to accompany him in his mission. H'El is with an agenda to bring back Krypton to life at any cost, even if it means the complete destruction of Earth.

Superman and Superboy engages him in battle but proven as a futile force against H'El's might. Superman along with a gravely injured Superboy deems that they are unable to fend this powerful new enemy, so they call in the Justice League. Batman, Cyborg and Wonder Woman arrived at the Fortress of Solitude to battle against H'El. Soon, Superman stopped and met by a massive mysterious entity the Oracle in outer space.

During the period of Wild West in 1880's, Gotham City was visited by Amadeus Arkham and Jonah Hex for investigation purpose. Then Hex encounters a female Talon assassin of the Court for the first time that resembled to his dead wife a little and to a point, he was even manipulated to work for them. Alan Wayne, Edward Elliot, Theodore Cobblepot and Burton Crowne saw a street performer make his way to Haley's Circus that originated the Grayson surname as "Gray Son of Gotham" and how he got involved with the Court in the upcoming years. As the existence of Court of the Owls is now revealed by Batman after ages, the armies of the ruthless Talon assassins are sent out to take control of the city and destroy anyone who comes in their path.

Batman and his expanding Bat-Family are also caught in the middle of the battle and are trying their best to save the citizens of Gotham from the wrath of the Court and its members. As they all are desperately busy fighting these undead killers, the Wayne Manor fell under attack and Bruce came up with a new combat suit of armor to confront the attackers. Nightwing, Batgirl, Red Hood and the Outlaws, Robin, Catwoman, Birds of Prey and others are also confronted by the deadly Talons. Meanwhile, Nightwing also discovers more of his clouded past and about his bloodline that proves a connection to the Court. It’s a deadly and dreaded dark night upon for the vigilantes of Gotham as they might finally meet their ultimate defeat at the hands of evil.

Night of the Owls is a major comic event and the first ever crossover in The New 52 continuity of the DC Universe after the ‘Flashpoint’ timeline. This event starts at the aftermath of Court of the Owls storyline and tied to ‘City of Owls’. Writer Scott Snyder (American Vampire, Superman Unchained) and artist Greg Capullo (Haunt, Spawn) served the core plot for the Batman titles which is the main focus of this crossover. Other Bat-related monthly ongoing titles were also part of the main event that tied the entire crossover.

Red Hood and the Outlaws | Comics

Dick Grayson was Batman’s first crime-fighting sidekick and the first Robin, who grew up to his own identity of the solo superhero Nightwing and left the Robin mantle behind. After Dick, Batman found a troubled orphan boy from the streets of Crime Alley to be his newest sidekick and the second Robin. What they didn’t knew was that Jason’s becoming Robin was a plan The Joker had in mind and very subtly manipulated the deaths of his parents.

Red Hood and the Outlaws | Comics

He eventually fell into a trap set by Joker, where he was beaten to death only to be revived later by Talia al Ghul through the use of Lazarus Pit. He became a bit unstable and received new training. After hanging out with the League of Assassins for a while, Jason realized their way does not suit him best and he left.

Now assuming the new identity of Red Hood, he calls up his former friend Roy Harper from his days as Robin who was also a side kick of another vigilante hero named Green Arrow previously and now going by the name Arsenal. Princess Koriand'r AKA Starfire of the planet Tamaran is also grouped in and together they formed a squad of freelance mercenaries to avenge the enemies of justice.

After leaving the shadow of The Dark Knight, Jason started taking somewhat unethical moves in fighting crime like killing his opponents which earned him a reputation among the underworld. Red Hood fought Ra's al Ghul and later as a second chance, he was offered place in Batman Incorporated by Batman. Some time later, Jason would find himself teamed-up with Artemis and Bizarro.

During the wake of The New 52 wave following “Flashpoint” crossover event, the incident taken place in “A Death in the Family” had an altered effect in the new timeline. Jason Todd is back as Red Hood who is not a criminal but more like an anti-hero with two other popular characters to sum up the monthly ongoing Red Hood and the Outlaws from DC Comics.

No Rest For The Wicked

The series debuted in 2011 with veteran writer Scott Lobdell (Alpha Flight, Generation X) and artist Kenneth Rocafort (Madame Mirage, Velocity) in charge of the storyline continuation. The series also tied in with two major New 52 crossovers like “Night of the Owls” and “Death of the Family”. After "DC Universe – Rebirth" wave on the timeline of Prime Earth, Red Hood eventually manages two new outlaws for his band, this time with Artemis and Bizarro.

Operation – Zero Tolerance | Comics

After most of The Avengers, Fantastic Four, The Incredible Hulk and Doctor Doom has seemingly sacrificed themselves to destroy the essence of the psionic being Onslaught, only the mutant superheroes were left on Earth. Bunch of non-mutant superheroes including Daredevil, Doctor Strange and Spider-Man were left behind along with the team of X-Men. A mutant-hating human and also a candidate for Presidential election, Graydon Creed got killed and his unknown killer is suspected to be a mutant.

The government has given the complete authority to Bastion; an upgrade to the advanced sentinel Nimrod, to handle the situation and he came up with a plan along with his newly assembled troops of Prime Sentinels to capture all mutants, dubbing it as "Operation: Zero Tolerance". Many of the X-Men are captured and the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning is seized by him. This gave Bastion all access to the information about every known mutant out there.

X-Men – Operation Zero Tolerance | Comics

Because of his role on Onslaught Saga, Professor X voluntarily turns himself to the authority and Bastion confronts him personally before locking him away. The young mutant Jubilee of team Generation X is soon captured along with her team and taken to the custody of Bastion where she is extensively tortured on a mental level by the Sentinel-Hybrid to discover the secrets about her fellow mutants.

X-Men member Cyclops, Jean Grey, Cannonball, Storm and Wolverine are also captured by the program. In the mean time, the time-travelling mutant from the future, Cable sneaks into the X-Mansion to rescue his ally Caliban and erase Xavier's files containing all information on other mutants to save them from Bastion. Iceman has formed a small rebellion team against the Operation and Bastion himself.

The mutant Marrow also joins in his cause to avenge her mentor and the Morlock leader, Callisto. As they were preparing to lead an attack on Bastion, the rebellion faced a sudden ambush by a group of Prime Sentinels. Iceman eventually gets his chance to go up against Bastion and was seemingly besting him but then the Sentinel tuned the tides of their fight.

"Operation – Zero Tolerance" is a 1997 X-Men crossover event from Marvel Comics that spawned in the monthly ongoing series of Cable, Generation X, Uncanny X-Men, Wolverine, X-Force, and X-Man. The story revolves around the assassination of a presidential candidate and afterwards, how the effects of that incident helps an advanced Sentinel prototype named Bastion to take over the mutant community with help from the government. The initial plots of the event were planned by veteran writer Scott Lobdell (Alpha Flight, Excalibur) and Larry Hama (Venom – Along Came A Spider, Venom – Carnage Unleashed).

Artist Leinil Francis Yu (New Avengers, Secret Invasion) did the drawings along with Chris Bachalo (Captain America – Homeland, Dark Reign – The Sinister Spider-Man), Pasqual Ferry (Adam Strange – Planet Heist, Superman – Ending Battle), Joe Madureira (Inhuman – Genesis, Savage Wolverine – Hands on a Dead Body), Roger Cruz and Salvador Larroca (Death of Wolverine – The Weapon X Program, Spider-Man – House of M).
