Hawkeye | Comics

Trained by The Swordsman and Trick Shot to become an expert marksman, Clint Barton was inspired by super-hero Iron Man but because of some misunderstanding he was debuted as a criminal by the media. He soon teamed up with Black Widow with whom he developed a crush and eventually clashing with Iron Man.

He soon reformed and joined The Avengers alongside Captain America, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver following the original lineup of the team. Although he was considered as a valued member of the team, he tried being solo but soon ended up joining with The Defenders. While faced the Crossfire, he successfully foiled his plan with help from fellow vigilante and S.H.I.E.L.D. Operative Bobby Morse AKA Mockingbird, whom he would eventually marry.

He returned to lead West Coast Avengers and then Mockingbird was killed by the demonic Mephisto. Hawkeye was offered to lead the team of Thunderbolts but during Scarlet Witch’s mental breakdown he died in battle (Avengers Disassembled). However, he was later alive in “House of M” reality and brought back to life afterwards.

After “The Death of Captain America”, he was approached to wield his shield by Tony Stark but rejected (Fallen Son – The Death of Captain America). Clint took the alias of Ronin to join the New Avengers during World War Hulk. He fought the Skrulls on “Secret Invasion” and opposed Norman Osborn’s rule on “Dark Reign”. In post “Siege” period, he re-joined the Avengers and later led the Secret Avengers.

A fictional recurring comic book character from Marvel Comics, Hawkeye first debuted in the 57th issue of Tales of Suspense in 1964. The character was created by legendary comic-book creator Stan Lee (Daredevil, Doctor Strange) and Don Heck, whom would frequently appear in The Avengers books as well as featured in his own limited series.

Apart from that, Hawkeye also starred in many prominent crossover events by Marvel Comics as well as a star on many new and old monthly ongoing series, featuring many significant stories. On silver screen, the character was portrayed by Jeremy Renner in live-action movie, The Avengers (2012), Avengers – Age of Ultron (2015) and Captain America – Civil War (2016).

Batman – A Death in the Family | Comics

After Dick Grayson; the first Robin was fired (Nightwing – Year One) for his disobedience and arrogance on the line of duty, Batman starts operating alone and soon have found a boy trying to steal the tires of Batmobile in the streets of Crime Alley.

He took that boy; Jason Todd to the Batcave and soon after the boy had successfully deduced Batman’s secret identity, is recruited as the second Robin. During their regular patrolling on field and training sessions, Jason proved himself to be very agile and also a bit aggressive.

While facing a mob group during their patrol, Batman was very dissatisfied with Jason’s arrogance on how to approach them and to help him, tries to talk some sense into him but Jason seemed to be quite reluctant to that issue. Afterwards, Bruce tries to talk with Jason regarding his parents, leading the boy to leave discussion and heads for the street.

Soon, he meets up with an old neighbour Mrs. Walker, who used to live by his parents and the lady gave him a box full of photographs and documents related to his parents but yet was not helpful enough to find them. However, he got a clue of his mother’s name initial being “S” and with help from the Batcomputer, Jason finds three possible match and one of them is the deadly assassin Lady Shiva.

As the impatient boy left home to find his mother, The Joker escaped from Arkham in the mean time, leading Batman and the Man of Steel; Superman to chase his tail. Yet, a great tragedy is about to take place in the life of The Dark Knight.

"A Death in the Family" is a famous Batman storyline that took place on issues #426-429 from the very first monthly ongoing series of Batman in 1988. The storyline was developed by writer/artist Jim Starlin (Cosmic Odyssey, Death of the New Gods), who wrote the plot and artist Jim Aparo took care of the illustration work. This four part story was later become one of the most important arc that would follow the “Hush” and “Under the Red Hood” storyline.

The reference of this arc is frequently mentioned in many other books from DC Comics as well as the crossover event of The New 52 titled “Death of the Family” in 2012, by Scott Snyder (American Vampire, Superman Unchained) and Greg Capullo (Haunt, Spawn). An animation feature of the same name was also released from the line of DC Animated Original Movie in 2010.

Cosmic Odyssey | Comics

An invading troop from Apokolips arrived in Gotham City via a Boom Tube only to face New God Lightray and Superman, who quickly made them escape before they could set up the force field generator as part of their plan to take over the Earth. However, one of them had left behind who sought shelter in the sewer system and ended up facing Batman who incapacitated and stopped the soldier from informing his authority.

Meanwhile, while roaming on a planet in the Alpha Centauri system, Darkseid found Metron in a near catatonic state along with his Mobius Chair and upon rescuing him, the evil god realizes that a great cosmic threat is arising that needs the involvement of all the heroes.

The New God, Lonar arrives in Washington, D.C. to enlist the aid of Superman, Batman, J'onn J'onzz, Starfire, Green Lantern John Stewart and Jason Blood as ambassadors from Earth to New Genesis. Lonar transports them to New Genesis via Boom Tube where they all saw Highfather has allied with Darkseid to halt a cosmic disaster.

Anti-Life Equation was discovered by an ancient alien race that destroyed their planet and its aspects are unwillingly released by Metron which is now headed to four planets of a different star system. Batman decides to keep an eye on Darkseid while investigating and unbeknown to him that he has managed to capture the demon Etrigan, which he shows to to Jason Blood.

Aliens – Outbreak | Comics

USCSS Nostromo survivor Ellen Ripley was rescued after fifty-seven years of the Nostromo incident (Alien – The Illustrated Story) and aided a team of Colonial Marines with United States Colonial Marine Corps member Corporal Dwayne Hicks to a terraforming colony on LV-426 that lost contact with the base. There they found a survivor girl named Rebecca 'Newt' Jorden.

Upon discovering an Alien hive nearby, they were at war with the Xenomorphs which turned into a total massacre of Hicks’ crews. Ten years after the horror, a grown up Newt is now mentally unstable and Hicks has still grief stricken over the event. Following the occurrence of a similar incident in deep space on the salvage crew, the marines are called in along with Hicks to assist them as well as collect a few eggs for them and destroy their home world.

Before takeoff, Hicks breaks into the mental institute where Newt is hold and took her along to the journey. As they travels towards LV-426, which is now called Acheron, it appears that back in Earth, the Bionational Corp somehow gotten their hands onto an Alien Queen and their scientists have started to experiment on living test-subjects to study and gather more specimens.

Meanwhile, a spiritual cult decides to unleash the Aliens on earth by willingly becoming their host as they believe the Xenomorphs to be some form of messiahs. Newt fell in love with fellow marine Butler on their way and what they did not expect is to meet an alien Space Jockey AKA The Engineer there.
